Developed
in cooperation with the Mayo Clinic, the EndoCurette® continues
Utah Medical Products' tradition of delivering unique solutions for
improving physicians' practices. The EndoCurette® is designed
to help obtain a more robust endometrial sample, with the intent of
minimizing false negative EMB results.
Multiple, elongated ports on the curetting head are designed to draw
tissue from a large surface area and provide reliable sampling of
the endometrium.
Stiff catheter body for easy insertion.
No dilatation needed for the small diameter tip.
Smoothly operating suction plunger for consistent vacuum.
No difficulty extracting tissue.
The EndoCurette® is a sterile, single use suction curette which features a proprietary multiport curetting tip (see image right).
These multiple elongated openings feature edges which provide an extremely
effective method for excision of the high endometrial tissue volumes
necessary for more accurate histological assessment.
The
TVUS/HSG-Cath™ is a trans-cervical, dual lumen catheter designed
to help provide optimal sonographic uterine image quality while minimizing
patient discomfort.
Peel-away guide facilitates placement of catheter and can be removed
from the catheter prior to imaging.
Pre-loaded stylet option is ready for immediate insertion when stenosis
is present.
Markings indicate insertion depth to help avoid uterine perforation.
Optimized liquid infusion cross-section to achieve infusion flow rates
without significant hand pressure.
Proprietary conical-shaped balloon (see image right) is designed to
provide effective saline stoppage at the internal os without patient
discomfort.
Intrauterine placement of balloon is possible without significant
image obstruction near the internal os.

TVUS/HSG-Cath™ is indicated for diagnosis of the following conditions:
Trans-Vaginal Ultrasound (TVUS) with saline infusion, also known as Saline Infusion Sonography (SIS).
Persistent abnormal or dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
Suspected
mymetrial or intraluminal abnormalities (e.g., fibroids or polyps).
Thickened
or irregular endometrium.
Recurrent
pregnancy loss.
Pre-operative
and post-operative assessment of uterine pathology.
Hysterosalpingography (HSG) with radiographic or sonographic contrast media.
Unexplained fertility.
Recurrent
pregnancy loss.
