The
Myelo-Nate® neonatal/pediatric lumbar puncture set provides all
the components necessary to remove CSF for analysis in the neonatal
and pediatric patient.
Available with 1 inch or 1.5 inch 22 gauge or 1 inch 25 gauge LP needle.
Thin wall cannula design provides better flow of cerebral spinal fluid
(CSF).
The needle's crystal clear hub provides visual detection of fluid
flow.
The needle has an integrally ground stylet and a marker for bevel
up orientation.
Vial lids can be sealed using one hand.

TYPE NEEDLE POINT
The short, bevel point design of the needle is less traumatic than other types of LP needles because it's Quincke type point spreads and displaces the dura mater rather than cutting through it. This reduces overall penetration forces, yet still gives a positive feel when penetrating the dura mater.
