Intran® Plus provides the transducer-tipped accuracy that has become the standard of care in IUP catheters. This means the clinician can monitor pressure at the source for continuous, reliable information. Intran® Plus allows the clinician to change monitors or verify waveform accuracy with the simple re-zeroing features. Intran® Plus was designed with a multi-purpose "amnio" port and lumen for both amnioinfusion and sampling.

The amnioinfusion lumen (see image right) allows a normal saline flow rate of 27ml per minute with gravity feed at 32" height, which will support either a bolus infusion until fetal heart decelerations abate, or a slower continuous infusion for prophylactic or therapeutic purposes.

With Intran® Plus patient comfort is unsurpassed. The introducer assures easy insertion and the advanced catheter material keeps Intran® Plus in place, so there is no need to worry about re-insertion or interrupted monitoring. Also, because Intran® Plus is a single patient use product, the risk of cross contamination is eliminated.
