The OvaCue® Fertility Monitoring System is the only monitor that detects a woman's complete fertility window for accurate fertility prediction.
OvaCue® is the only fertility monitoring method that can detect
a woman's complete fertile window. OvaCue's proprietary Electrolyte
Method™ is proven effective(1) at detecting:
the
onset of fertility, where hormonal changes correlating to the
selection of the dominant follicle in the ovary are distinguished
by a change in salivary electrolytes.
the
end of the fertile window, where ovulation is marked by a change
from estrogen to progesterone dominance and a luteinizing hormone
(LH) surge, which are detectable in either salivary or cervical mucus
electrolytes.
Clinically proven to be 98.3% accurate at determining ovulation.
Pinpoints ovulation up to seven days in advance — more than
any other method.
Calendar-based view format provides simple interpretation of the complete
fertile window.
Stores over three months of data in on-board memory.
Optional OvaGraph® software allows for downloading data to a computer
for long-term analysis.
Readings obtained in five seconds per day.
Urine-free testing.

QUICK,
SIMPLE RESULTS
OvaCue® monitoring is started on day 1 of the menstrual cycle. A single daily reading is obtained with an oral sensor that is placed on the tongue. OvaCue® takes a reading within five seconds, and stores the data for analysis. OvaCue's proven Electrolyte Method™ algorithm analyzes the daily results, and clearly displays fertility results in a monthly calendar format.
An optional vaginal sensor can be used in conjunction with the oral sensor, increasing ovulation detection accuracy to 98.3%.

Specifically, the Electrolyte Method™ algorithm detects the hormonal change in saliva caused by dominant follicle selection, and is noted by a spike — the "Cue Peak" — in the oral reading (the blue data line in the chart above). Fertility is possible just after this spike. The onset of ovulation is predicted 24-48 hours in advance by either a drop in oral sensor readings, or a marked increase in the vaginal sensor readings (pink data line). Couples can then know their best chances for conception before the fertile window closes.
