The
Dialy-Nate® set is a cost-effective, sterile, pre-assembled and
closed peritoneal dialysis system designed especially for neonatal
and pediatric use. Peritoneal dialysis, also referred to as parental
leaching, is frequently a better neonatal option than hemodialysis
because smaller infants can ill afford to lose the blood volume necessary
to prime the hemodialysis blood circuit.
Safer and more effective than piecing together separate tubing and
components.
Pre-assembled, closed sterile system greatly reduces risk of peritonitis.
Saves nursing time and worry about researching hospital protocols.
Available with a bonded helical warming coil for use with a K-Pad,
or with 600cm of uncoiled tubing for use in a blood or fluid warmer.
SET CONTENTS
Three bag spikes for mixing the three different concentrations
of infusate.
Graduated administration burette (150 ml) is in-line with an injection
site and air vent.
In-line bacterial retentive (0.2 micron) filter.
Roller clamp for flow control.
In-line helical infusate warming coil (4000507).
600cm of uncoiled tubing for use with fluid/blood warmer (4000517).
3-way stopcock for flow control and sampling.
Flashbulb for drainage sampling.
Finely graduated dialysate meter with overflow bag.
